Our Start
Voler was founded in 1986 by the Deyo family. Jacques Deyo, the creator, was an extreme windsurfer and avid cyclist. His love of the sport and the outdoors, along with a genuine desire to create quality products that people would use in the pursuit of their own passions led him and the company into the custom cycling clothing market.
So a legend was born, and in 1991 the creation of Voler became complete. We studied the competition and asked customers what was missing from their past experiences with our competitors. Across the board, the response was “good customer service.” Immediately, we established our defining goal: “To Provide Excellent Customer Service”. For over two decades, Voler has earned its reputation as the best cycling apparel company in the industry, by focusing on our Customers, and by consistently creating innovative custom clothing.

Our Online Store
To help expand our services, Voler began a new division that was created to supply every cyclist with the superior quality clothing that was previously only available on a custom basis in the past. Velowear.com was established in 1999 and has quickly grown into a highly respected online retail establishment, specializing exclusively in Voler's retail line of cycling apparel. In October of 2010 we decided to drop the Velowear.com name and website, but still provide the same online shopping experience through Voler.com.
