Respect The Cyclist

''Respect the Cyclist'' is an ongoing campaign in the state of Chihuahua in northern Mexico. It began in October of 2006 before the race "Vuelta a Chihuahua Internacional", when the University of Chihuahua cycling team was struck by a drunk driver, killing one. Because of this and many other accidents at the expense of cyclists, the "Cuida al Ciclista" or ''Respect the Cyclist '' campaign was created. The designer, Cesar wanted to push this message beyond just Chihuahua, to the rest of the world.
