The purpose of USA Cycling Regional Development Camps is multi-faceted. First & foremost they provide a development opportunity for younger riders. Over the course of the 6-day camp, participants practice skills that are specific to the discipline, enjoy informational discussions about nutrition, bike mechanics, and training, and take part in standardized field testing that help to identify talent.
