Blue Collar Bicycles

BLUE COLLAR is an entity that has been lurking just beneath the surface of the Northern California single speed scene since 1998. Specializing in handbuilt steel MTB and CX frames-most without any derailleurs attached, armed with a lifelong appetite for all things METAL and a healthy dose of not taking things too seriously, BC has been a proud participant in the evolution of what was once a tiny, defiant counter culture and has now grown into a full blown mainstream phenomenon with a life all it's own. All the while we've maintained our slightly rebellious nature, our twisted sense of humor and our uncontrollable desire to raise a bit of good natured Hell every now and then. The ONE SPEED METAL kit is a perfect representation of our journey-a little rough, a little rowdy and definitely lacking for subtlety. It beckons you to bang your head like tomorrow is never gonna come, cast off the chains of conformance, grab your bike and ride like Hell, which oddly enough, feels a lot like Heaven.
