L.A. Chinatown Firecracker Bike Ride

The L.A. Chinatown Firecracker Bike Ride will celebrate the Year of the Pig on Saturday, 2/16/19 and offer cyclists the choice of a 20 mile and a 40 mile route!

The 20 mile route is geared towards families and casual riders and we advise a 10 mph pace. We’ll depart from the center of LA’s Chinatown and head to the North East Los Angeles areas of Lincoln Heights and El Sereno. Then, we’ll pedal on the historic Huntington Drive through the quaint City of South Pasadena towards beautiful San Marino, where we’ll stop to refuel with water and snacks at Lacy Park. Once energized, we’ll cycle back to Chinatown.

The 40 mile route will start in the center of LA’s Chinatown and cruise north to Eagle Rock and then Pasadena, where we’ll overlook the iconic Rose Bowl! Next, we’ll pedal on bike paths and scenic, low-traffic roads, through Altadena and the quaint town of Sierra Madre. Once in Arcadia, we’ll cycle along scenic Huntington Drive to South Pasadena and then to San Marino where we’ll stop to rest and refuel at the beautiful Lacy Park. Once refreshed, we’ll make our way back to Chinatown.
