Exploring, suffering (earning snacks), and smiling. That’s what being on a bike means to me.
Hi, I'm Tim Lillis. I live in San Francisco, a transplant from Boston 10 years ago. My background is product design, and these days I run a freelance illustration and design practice, doing work for some of the smallest and largest companies in the world, telling their stories through compelling visuals.
The designs on this page are a result of a month of designing one jersey per day. I am thrilled to be releasing the most popular ones with Voler. I’m so excited to see the designs come to life, from being on a computer screen to being worn by cyclists enduring punishing climbs and bombing twisty descents.
I prefer dirt to pavement, and can be seen in the trademark grey and orange of the Vive La Tarte cyclocross team in the Bay Area.
