Voler ambassador Emily Kachorek (Squid Bikes) recently completed the 2nd annual Lost & Found Gravel Grinder ride which took place near Lake Davis, California. The epic ride stretched over 100miles of paved, gravel, and dirt roads, and climbed 7,000ft with the Sierra Nevada Mountains serving as the scenic back drop for all the riders to take in while completing the course.
Here is a little of what Emily had to say about the event:
What stuck out to me was the truly amazing scenery, the camaraderie at this type of mass start event, the quality of the aid stations, and the fun I had at the post-ride BBQ. Although a 100 ride for me is something I do pretty regularly, it would be difficult to manage a ride of that length and difficulty in such a remote and rugged location alone. I was extremely happy to have participated in the first Lost and Found. I believed this event had the potential to become the next big thing. - Emily Kachorek
