About the Program

The Brand Ambassador Apparel Program is an opportunity for UnitedHealth Group employees to show pride in their company while living out its mission. To participate, simply register for a competitive cycling or running event, complete the online form below and we’ll send you one branded athletic shirt per employee year at no cost to you.

How it Works

  • Register for a competitive cycling or running event.
  • Complete the online form below.
  • A confirmation email will be sent to your work email address.
  • Someone will verify that you are a current UnitedHealth Group, UnitedHealthcare or Optum employee and that you are participating in a valid event.
  • Your apparel will be processed and shipped using the United States Postal Service first class mail.
  • You will receive your garment approximately 25 days after placing the order.

A: No, walking events and personal fitness incentive programs do not qualify.

Q: Can I order a shirt if I am volunteering at an event?
A: No, these are designed for participants only.

A: No, this benefit is not intended for ball sports or leagues at this time.

A: No, this program is intended to promote our company at competitive running, cycling, or triathlon events.

Q: I get together with a few people after work to cycle. Does this count as an organized event?
A: No, this program is for official competitive events that require registration.

Q: Is this only for UnitedHealth Group sponsored events?
A: No, this program is for any competitive running or cycling event.

Q: Is this program available to employees outside the US?
A: No, this program is only available to employees living in the US.

Q: May I place an order for a friend or family member that is competing in an event?
A: No, this program is intended only for employees.

Q: If I would like to purchase additional items at my own expense, how would I do that?
A: You may purchase the apparel here.

Terms and Conditions

  • You may only request one garment per employee per year.
  • Subject to these terms and conditions, the items you order through this program are provided at no cost to you. UnitedHealth Group will cover the cost of the items, including the product, sales tax, shipping and handling.
  • Contractors are not eligible for this program.
  • You must provide the name and date of the event.
  • Participation in valid events may be as an individual or as part of a UnitedHealth Group corporate team.
  • You must use your official work email address when ordering for employment validation.
  • Items issued under the Brand Ambassador Apparel Program are non-transferable.
  • Items will be shipped using the United States Postal Service first class mail only. Expedited shipping is not available.
  • Exchanges are allowed for sizing issues.
  • This program is currently only available to employees living in the United States.
  • This apparel is not intended to be worn at events where another UHG shirt is supplied (For example: The Heart Walk).
  • Walking events do not qualify for this program.
  • Personal exercise incentive programs do not qualify.
